Michael White has worked in small business for many years and understands what fiscal responsibility means along with the challenges that business faces today. Most recently, as a Business Manager for a speech therapy clinic, he has seen first hand how families struggle with healthcare. And how the loss of a job can mean no access to healthcare benefits for children in need.

Michael is retired military with approximately 22 combined years of service in the Illinois National Guard, the USAF and Air Force Reserve. In the military, Michael honed his leadership skills and still lives the creed; duty, honor, country. His wife and son understand what “service before self” requires as they supported his many years of military service.

Michael was born and raised in Kankakee, Illinois and is currently a resident of Lake County with his wife and son. While in the military he travelled throughout the world, however his passion for the State of Illinois, its people and its opportunity is second to none.
